The top picture shows the scene on the County Ground on Bank Holiday, during the long partnership of Mr. C. B. Fry and Mead, which resulted in the addition of 246 runs to the Hampshire total. (2) The ladies' grand stand. (3) NVoolley (left) and Mead (right) returning to the Pavilion during the tea interval.
THE "JOYWHEEL" ON THE COMMON.
One of the Bank Holiday attractions on Southampton Common was the / " Joy Wheel." The young gentlemen seen to the left of. the picture is Master Bowyor, son of the Mayor of Southampton.
EMPIRE DAY CELEBRATION AT NEWPORT SCHOOLS.

BEAULIEU BEAUTY SPOTS.
We give above two charming pictures of scenes in one of the New Forest'* most attractive villages. The lower view was taken from the Quay at Beaulieu, and shows the imposing entrance gateway to Lord Montagu'* historic mansion. Palace House. The top view is taken from the roadway near the Palace gates, and of the river looking towards Buckler's Hard.
