Letter from John Ponsonby, second Baron Ponsonby, later first Viscount Ponsonby, British ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary at Constantinople, [Constantinople], to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: he thinks that Palmerston should instruct him and convince France to instruct her ambassador to Constantinople, to encourage the Porte to recognise Isabella, as Queen of Spain, as currently the Porte is acting under Russian orders not to recognise her. 9 Jul 1836
