Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, Windsor Castle, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: the Queen wishes to have a map of [?] such as was sent to her when the instructions to Aukland were brought under contention. The Queen found herself very naturally unable perfectly to comprehend the draft to Clanricarde without this assistance. The King of Portugal has written to the Queen to express particularly his hope that [?] may not leave Lisbon when Howard returns, not even upon leave of absence. The Queen has asked for advice on how to reply. 1 Nov 1838
