Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, Windsor Castle, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: Melbourne has just received Palmerston’s letter and has submitted it to the Queen. The Queen wishes that Palmerston expresses to the Prince and Princess [?Swarzebey] her great concern at being deprived of the pleasure of seeing the Princess in London. The Queen will receive Prince [?Swarzebey] and Prince [?] tomorrow but will not detain the Prince if he is anxious to rejoin the Princess. 4 Sep 1838
