Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, South Street, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: Melbourne does not like the despatches from Egypt and Constantinople. Campbell does not appear to have spoken strongly or decisively enough to the Pasha. Thinks Ponsonby will [?urge] the Sultan to undertake [?] hostilities on his side. 16 Aug 1838
