Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, South Street, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: he sends the motions [not enclosed] which Lord Strangford has given notice of for tomorrow. Melbourne asks for Palmerston’s advice regarding what is to be said. Lyndhurst has also given notice that he will present a petition from Glasgow on the state of British commercial relations. Melbourne has no doubt Lyhdhurst means to mention Urqhart and “all that business”. 13 Aug 1838
