Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, South Street, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: asks to see Wylde’s despatch and Palmerston’s reply. Melbourne does not think that he can say any more than he said the other day: viz, that Wylde had no previous instructions. The King may sink at any moment. 14 Jun 1837
