Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, South Street, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: with respect to [?] speculations certainly the [?] to be to be feared in an alliance between France and Russia for without aggrandisement. But the personal alienation between the two [?] seem to render this impossible at present. 18 Jan 1837
