Letter from William Lamb, second Viscount Melbourne, to Henry John Temple, third Viscount Palmerston: he agrees with Palmerston that Acton had better not go; it may be better to lay down as a rule that foreign ministers should not attend on such occasions. It is curious after Sebastiani’s objection to an event on the anniversary of Waterloo. 25 Jul 1836
