REPORT OF THE LIVERPOOL BRANCH OF THE ANGLO-JEWISH ASSOCIATION.
1873-
OFFICERS.
Baron L. Benas, Esq., President. Mark Samuel, Esq., Treasurer.
A. Benas, Esq. L. Davis, Esq. A. Hoffnung, Esq. A. S. Levy, Esq. D. S. Lewis, Esq.
R. Robinson, Esq. C. S. Samuell, Esq. H. S. Samuel, Esq. R. H. Samuel, Esq. S. Stern, Esq.
II. M. Silver, Esq., Hon. Sec.
We have pleasure in reporting that the number of our members has very fairly increased, and although we have not been able to initiate action in this town, yet we have successfully enlisted in our favor, the powerful influence of our local journals, especially in the matter of the Roumanian Jews.
Our Branch tenders its cordial thanks to the enlightened members of the Liverpool Press, ever ready as they are to espouse the cause of justice and humanity.
The printed Reports and Pamphlets of the Alliance and the Anglo-Jewish Association which we circulate from time to time, are doing much to keep alive that sympathy for the cause which we pursue.
In appending our Balance-Sheet, we trust the Jews of Liverpool will ever continue to increase their material as well as moral support to the Anglo-Jewish Association.
Signed on behalf of the Committee,
B. L. BENAS.
President. .
