GOVERNMENT INSURANCES AND _ „ ANNUITIES.
The Postmaster-General is empowered to insure the lives of persons of either sex for any amount not less than 40 or more than 4100.
An insurance may be efFectcd by any person not over the age of 60 years and not under the age of 14 years, or, if the amount docs not exceed 40, not under the age of 8 years.
The Postmaster-General is also empowered to grant immediate or deferred annuities for any amonnt not less than 41 or more than 4100 to any person not under the age of 0 years.
