THE LATE CAPTAIN SMITH AND SOME OF HIS GALLANT COMRADES

The above group .was taken recently on board the s.s. Olympic. It shows Captain Smith (who is seated in the centre) surrounded by his forme some of whom were transferred with himself to the ill-fated liner Titanic. The names of those seated, reading from left to right of the picture, O'Loughton (Titanic's surgeon), Mr. H. F. Wilde (chief officer of the Titanic), .Captain Smith (commanding the Titanic), Mr. Fleming (chief engineer of the Olympic), and Mr. Mcllroy (purser of the Titanic). Standing immediately behind Mr. Mcllroy is Mr. Wm. Murdoch (6rst officer of the Titanic). The five Titanic officers mentioned all perished in the disaster!
BANISTER PARK BOWLERS.

Our pictures show: (1) The Club House of the Banister Park Howling Club, which opened for the season on Saturday last, when Mr. R. Movvat (the President) sent down the first ball. (2) A group of well-known members. The President is in the centre, and Mr. A. E. Henley (the Hon. Secretary) behind him. Others in the group are Alderman R. Andrews, J.P.r Messrs. J. T. Hamilton, J.P., J Park, W. E. M. Davies, J. Newman, J. J. Keen, S. Warner, and J. Clark.
