On Hospital Sunday (the second Sunday in March), sermons are preached in all places of worship in- Southampton & neighbourhood, & the collections, together with the amounts collected on board the mail steamers, also collections made on Hospital Saturday in factories, workshops &c. are distributed amongst the five medical charities of the town. Collecting boxes, copies of reports and particulars are gladly supplied by the hon. secretary
Southampton Mayoress Blanket Loan Society ; depot, Platform, Town quay. Subscribers of 10s. 6d.per annum are entitled to recommend nine applicants.
