SOUTHAMPTON
The Southampton Detachment, consisting of four batteries, numbering'320 men, forms part of the Hants and Dorset Brigade.

The Headquarter Detachment consists of eight companies, with a maximum establishment of 800 men. The detachments in Lymington, Christchurch. Bournemouth, Lyndhurst, and Ringwood, form the other portion of the Regiment.
