The Directors are ready to receive Proposals for insuring every description of Property in Great Britain and Ireland, including Ships in Dock, Rent of Houses, Loss by Fire from Lightning, and Farming Stock; the Rates for which (when the Insurance amounts to £300 and upwards) are as follows :—

Mills and other Extra-Hazardous Insurances will be rated according
to special agreement.
Insurances made for Seven Years, and the Premium paid at the commencement, will be charged six times the annual payment only, and at the expiration of the seven years a return of profits
will be allowed.
Extended System of Life Insurance.
The following are examples of the Rates of Premium for Life Insurances, viz.—

The liife Bonus of the Year 3.848 has been declared; and, with the exception of a reserve of £20,000 (to accumulate towards the next Bonus, in 1855), is payable upon and with the Sum Insured.
The following will show the amount of this Bonus on Policies for £1000, effected in Great Britain, according to the Ages of the Lives when Assured:—
