FREE TRADE IN CARRIAGES, SIR ROBERT PEEL'S NEW TARIFF.
The Premier's charge against the English Coachmakers of extravagant charges, may apply to those manufacturers who still pursue the antiquated system of illimitable credit with immensely extortionate prices, but not to this establishment. Acting in the spirit of the times, R. Andrews supplies every description of carriages at prices which secure a most extensive business not only in the United Kingdom, but in France, Belgium, and other countries of Europe, Egypt, India, North and South America, and, in fact, in every part of the world. R. A. has no fear of competition from the Continental Coach-builders, even were all the duty removed, for with their slightly built, springless, and shapeless conveyances, they have no chance of competing with the skill and capital of the English maker. Proofs of this may be seen in orders now being executed ; and in books of elegant drawings of fashionable carriages, with their prices attached, at R. Andrews Manufactory.
